About
Needham Early Learning Centre has been serving the needs of Halifax and neighboring communities since 1983. Since April of 1999, we have become a Not for Profit Organization governed by a Board of Directors. We are fully licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to offer QUALITY child care to children aged eighteen months through to twelve years old. We strictly adhere to the stipulated regulations of Nova Scotia’s Early Learning and Childcare Act to ensure our centre meets the necessary requirements regarding staffing, programming, nutrition and equipment.

Through play, we provide learning opportunities for well-being, discovery and invention, language and communication, and personal and social responsibility. Our high-quality early learning program promotes healthy development in a safe and inclusive environment.
